IMPORTANCE OF
MEDITATION AND INTUITION FOR A HEALTHY BEING
“Both the Harvard Business School and the leading European business
school, INSEAD (located in the suburbs of Paris), have concluded from
research that the two most effective new business tools for the
twenty-first century executives are meditation and intuition. The same
conclusion was reached at numerous other colleges”. Do Less Achieve
More- Chin-Ning Chu
Does meditation mean relaxing? Does meditation mean sitting quietly
trying to focus on something? Does meditation mean lighting a candle
listening to some guy giving a lecture? What is it?
If whilst reading these lines you are perfectly well aware of your
surroundings and are concentrating and contemplating on these lines
without any hurry or judgement, you are meditating.
In simple terms If you are aware of your surroundings and can focus all
of your attention in the present moment you are meditating. Meditation
was earlier restricted to a much personal level of spiritual search.
However now the companies are beginning to realise the benefits
Meditation offers in the corporate world as well. Infact most managers
and entrepreneurs agree that they find out the viability of a business
plan or idea within the first 2 seconds. Something what people call the
gut instinct or what the others call intuition. Essentially your body
tells you what feels right and what does not. So what is the purpose of
meditation here. Research suggests people who meditate more are more in
touch with their being and trust their nature to make good decisions
about things in general. And this is what the businesses are trying to
tap into. Obviously people are more productive when they are happy and
content at what they are doing.
According to notable organizations such as the National Institutes of
Health, the University of Massachusetts, and the Mind/Body Medical
Institute at Harvard University, meditation increases brain-wave
activity, enhances intuition, and improves concentration. Several
studies have demonstrated that individuals who meditated for just a
short time showed increased alpha waves (the brain waves that bridge the
conscious to the subconscious and help us to feel calm and at ease) and
decreased anxiety and depression.
Clearly, meditation offers tremendous personal advantages, but what is
the return on investment of meditation for organizations?
• Reduced absenteeism;
• Decreased drug and alcohol abuse;
• Improved camaraderie and cooperation among co-workers;
• Increased employee job satisfaction;
• Less stressed, more relaxed work environment;
• Greater creativity and improved productivity.
• Improvement in Private life.
Benefits for the individuals.
• Better Partners
• A more relaxed attitude towards life and things in general.
• Meditation improves Sexual prowess; guess what are the foundations of
Tantric
Sex…
• People who meditate make better Parents
• High Self Esteem
• More Tolerant towards other views and ideas in general.
• Improved concentration and focus.
• More close to their real self
Remember this … No matter what someone tells you, Do Not- ever
absolutely ever doubt the fact that the answers to all your questions
lie within you and you only. And only you have been given the keys to
uncover your destiny. It’s just a matter of whether you are brave enough
to be silent and listen to your being. And the best part is there is no
hurry. It happens when happens. If you seek you shall definitely find !
FIND YOURSELF.

Mr. Claude Rameau, the dean of INSEAD (honored as the Dean of the World)
said "We do not know how to teach meditation and intuition, so we built
a large meditation hall for teachers, executives, and students to just
sit quietly and contemplate resting within."

surface data and simple logic are no longer sufficient as the only
source of information to help us in making complex decisions. We must go
beyond the obvious, by passing the tunnel vision of standard planning
processes to find bold new solutions. Of necessity, we must reach for
the new frontiers of the reality beyond the visible. |
