Volunteer in India

Volunteer Tourism "Volunteer Tourism: It's not a group tour; it's not an individual tour, it's not volunteering in strictest sense of the word only and it's not backpacking. However it's a mixture of all of these things in right amount. And the best part; it offers best value for your buck."

Vii (Volunteer in India)

Gone are the days when people would pay huge amounts of dollars to spend a month in India. Gone are the days when people would either backpack through India or use a travel agent to book a tour. Hello Volunteer Tourism!

Initially we were not too keen on the idea of Volunteer as we were really into promoting spiritual tourism in India. However we started receiving quite a few requests from people who wanted a Spiritual Volunteering Tourism experience at an affordable price, if that makes sense.

The idea is you buy a ticket from your home country and land in India and we will pick you at the airport, give you an experience of a life time, and drop you back at the airport in India when you are finished with your Volunteering experience. Our target audience is anyone who has a little bit of interest in Spiritual and Cultural side of India. We understand that not everyone is cut out to work in a hospital or work with terminally ill people in a volunteer role.

If you are kind of over the drinking, partying and want some time out and experience something which is equally fun our programs are for you. To be honest some of the places where we take you on the volunteer programs are a kick in itself. You will not need drinks or any other stimuli to work your senses. The customs of these places and the scenerary are enough to keep you captivated and intrigued while you are there.

We also have internships available in Indian Entertainment sector. Indian movie sector called 'Bollywood' comes out with the largest number of movies produced in the year even surpassing Hollywood. 'Bride and Prejudice' and 'Bend it like Beckham' are some of the popular movies of Indian origin. Apart from Internships in Film and Television Sector we also have Internships in IT, Business, Marketing and Finance. Whether you are coming to India to prepare for Microsoft Certification Exams or to gain that exposure in Indian workplace, you search for that great internship and cultural experience ends here.

Please log onto our website Volunteer in India to have a look at the programs available or alternatively email us at info@volunteerinindia.com for more information.

Whether you decide to come here as a volunteer, intern or a gap year applicant, We look forward to making your experience in India a memorable one.

I don’t know what I want to do in Life?

This is perhaps one of the most interesting answers I hear from people who are kind of stuck or not even stuck they are either indifferent to what they achieve and perhaps also not in a hurry to find out what they want.

Either you are not really comfortable with what your peers perhaps want you to do

Or maybe what you want to do does not fit the traditional mould.

If you are one of those people who are a bit confused and perhaps not clear as to what you want these few exercises should help.

From now onwards be very specific in your everyday life about what you want. Forget the ambition, career, life etc. For a minute just come to basics of life. If you want to drink a cup of tea, drink a cup of tea and don’t settle for a coffee. If you want Orange Juice have Orange juice and don’t settle for Orange and Mango Juice. If you are in the mood to have Subway then have Subway only and don’t settle for anything else.

Participate in life. A 5 minute chat to a complete stranger on a bus might be more interesting than spending 2 hours reading a book. Giving a horrible speech on a stage might sometimes be more beneficial than reading about giving perfect speeches or listening to other people who are great speakers.

Do more and more things that you enjoy and less and less of things you don’t enjoy.

For 10 minutes every day, just exist. Don’t think about anything. If you cant do 10 to start with do 2 or 5 minutes. One of the ways to learn how not to think for 10 minutes is tie a rubber band to your wrist. And each time a thought enters your mind when you are just to exist, pull that rubber band and let it go so that it stings. Again if a thought comes to you pull the rubber band again. With practice you should be able to keep your mind silent.

Remember if you have to ask people whether its right or wrong, it’s probably wrong. When you know the answer you will not need to ask anyone. You will just know.

Namaste.

Rejuvenate your consciousness

Welcome to India Spiritual Tours

“Both the Harvard Business School and the leading European business school, INSEAD (located in the suburbs of Paris), have concluded from research that the two most effective new business tools for the twenty-first century executives are meditation and intuition. The same conclusion was reached at numerous other colleges”.

At the outset let me take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about us. We at India Spiritual Tours organize tours for people to the Himalayas who want to learn ‘Meditation’ whilst at the same time enjoying the serenity of these mountain ranges. Almost all Indian religions have some of the major shrines dedicated to their Gods in the Himalayas. More people have gained enlightenment on these mountain ranges than any other place in the world. The idea is to have a “Spiritual Holiday” and by that we don’t mean taking people to temples and shrines. But rather teaching people through qualified masters the techniques to Awareness and being at Peace with themselves. These are the only kind of tours we do and manage, and of course we are good at it. We do not bind ourselves to a particular religion, which way you choose is up to you what matter’s is the final destination.

Cmon be brave .. Find yourself
